Beth Thornley

Beth Thornley is a singer/songwriter living in Los Angeles. Her 3rd CD, "Wash U Clean", will be released in March 2010. Her previous albums are "Beth Thornley" in 2003 and "My Glass Eye" in 2006. Her music has been called “smart pop” by Keyboard Magazine. The sound is mostly piano based, classic, melodic pop that owes a nod to artists such as Carole King, The Kinks, The Beatles and David Bowie but is doused in a modern pop exploration of sounds and grooves and influences from other genres. Her music has been heard on TV shows such as Scrubs, The Hills, Everwood, Jack and Bobby, Life, Newport Harbor and Friday Night Lights and in films such as "The Perfect Man" (Hillary Duff movie), "Play the Game" (Andy Griffith and Doris Roberts) and the indie film "Life with Fiona". She has had 2 songs in the top 10 of the rock category in the USA Songwriting Contest.
