The Shore

The Shore是美國(guó)的一個(gè)搖滾樂(lè)隊(duì)，由流行音樂(lè)人 Ben Ashley在加州鹽湖城組建。The Shore的風(fēng)格受到The Byrds,The Beatles這類(lèi)psychedelic風(fēng)格的影響比較重，另外風(fēng)格也類(lèi)似The Beach Boys,Oasis,The Verve這類(lèi)Britpop風(fēng)格的樂(lè)隊(duì)。 　　2002年春天，Ashley跟Rick Parker合作寫(xiě)了幾首歌。Parker從當(dāng)?shù)卣偌艘恍┮魳?lè)人成立了樂(lè)隊(duì)，包括貝司手Kyle Mullarky，吉他手Cliff Magreta，鼓手John Wilmer，做了一些樣本唱片。Scott Austin(Maverick A&R Executive)拿到這些樣本唱片后給了他們幾個(gè)月的合同。The Shore回到工作室做了他們的第一張專(zhuān)輯，歷時(shí)3個(gè)月的時(shí)間?！禩he Shore EP》于2003年元旦發(fā)行。他們?cè)?004年8月又發(fā)行了樂(lè)隊(duì)的合輯《The Shore》。2005年12月與吉他名家Wayne Faler巡回演出后，他也正式加入其中。大約在這個(gè)時(shí)候The Shore為了更好的商業(yè)運(yùn)作離開(kāi)了Maverick A&R Executive。 The Shore washed out of L.A.'s Silverlake district in 2002. Singer and guitarist Ben Ashley first presented a batch of songs to producer pal Rick Parker. Parker liked them, and some demos were made with the help of area rockers Kyle Mularky (guitar), Cliff Magreta (bass), and John Wilmer (drums). The Shore eventually signed with Maverick Records, and issued an introductory EP before dropping their self-titled LP in August 2004. The sound? A fashionable mix of dusky Verve sway alterna-rock.
