Emerald Forest And The Blackbird

2000年春原芬蘭搖滾樂(lè)隊(duì)PLUTONIUM ORANGE的吉他手John Raivio創(chuàng)建了Swallow the Sun，不久曾經(jīng)同在一支樂(lè)隊(duì)的Pasanen加入STS擔(dān)任鼓手，他們排練了幾首歌，其中一首Through Her Silvery Body就來(lái)自首張demo《Out of This Gloomy Light》。 　　2001年老友Jamsen加入擔(dān)任節(jié)奏吉他，Kotamaki擔(dān)任主唱，后來(lái)由相繼找到了其它樂(lè)手形成完整的陣容，2002年樂(lè)隊(duì)以該陣容完善了首張demo并于2003年1月錄制混音。幾個(gè)月后樂(lè)隊(duì)有幸得到了Doom專業(yè)戶Firebox的合約，于03年7月末進(jìn)入錄音棚錄制了他們的首張正式專輯《The Morning Never Came》，不愧為芬蘭樂(lè)隊(duì)，營(yíng)造的氛圍是有殺傷力的。 　　2005年2月，他們發(fā)表了第二張正式專輯《Ghosts of Loss》，單曲Forgive Her在唱片發(fā)表第一周內(nèi)就榮登芬蘭Top 20的單曲榜第四位，并在榜單上停留了六周。他們的專輯同樣登上了排行榜第八位.在2006年期間，他們簽約了Spinefarm Records并舉行了一次小規(guī)模的歐洲巡演。 　　2007年1月，他們發(fā)行了第三張專輯《Hope》，成為了我在07年最愛(ài)的專輯之一。事實(shí)上,swallow the sun從一開(kāi)始就從未曾讓我們失望過(guò),他們的音樂(lè)從來(lái)就是華美與悲悵并存,大氣中滿含憂傷,莊嚴(yán)中亦極失落,感性哀婉的吉他旋律極盡華麗的美感,也最讓人黯然神傷...
