The Light At The End of The World

My Dying Bride（我垂死的新娘）可能是受眾最多的Doom Metal（厄運(yùn)金屬）樂(lè)隊(duì)了，他們的音樂(lè)優(yōu)美而哀傷，樂(lè)隊(duì)中的每一位幾乎都參加多別的死亡樂(lè)隊(duì)的排練和錄音工作，可見(jiàn)他們的地位和技術(shù)是多么的令人信服，最出名的要算樂(lè)隊(duì)中的小提琴手Martin Powell了，是他給早期的MDB帶來(lái)了凄美的感覺(jué)，只有在他的琴聲中，仿佛有一個(gè)鮮血濺滿婚紗的新娘，嘴角帶著點(diǎn)點(diǎn)血絲在向你微笑！樂(lè)隊(duì)自從1990年建立,直至今天,一直在探討Doom Metal新的表達(dá)方式，如果說(shuō)大多數(shù)的Doom樂(lè)隊(duì)活在Black Sabbath（黑色安息曰）的陰影中，那么MDB要算前衛(wèi)厄運(yùn)金屬的范疇了。
再次的長(zhǎng)時(shí)間沉默后，又有新的成員加入：鼓手Shoun Steels和吉他手Hamish Glencross（Shoun參加過(guò)著名的Solstice和Anathema），另外還有臨時(shí)鍵盤手Johnny Maudlin，1999年9月，他們推出了這張專輯，風(fēng)格回歸到了Turn Loose The Swans和The Angel And The Dark River之間的風(fēng)格。但是否還能重振昔曰雄風(fēng)，我們只能拭目以待了。
